Firebrand Siaya Senator James Orengo reportedly went quiet on Raila Odinga's swearing-in despite being one of the leading crusader for oath taking, reports the Star.
In a meting attended by diplomats, NASA principals and Raila's family, Orengo is said to have gone blank on what should be done after the planned oath taking.
"The question which even Orengo failed to answer was the way forward after the swearing in. He even went quiet about the plans,' a source told the Star.
With backing of Ida Odinga, NASA principals led by Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi managed to prevail upon Raila over the swearing-in.
Moments before the Tuesday's swearing-in, Orengo had claimed that the swearing-in was well anchored within the law.
"The inauguration is well anchored in the law and I will throw a bombshell when Raila takes over,' he said.
But for he first time, the Star reports, Odinga found himself alone with even his legal minds taking a back seat in the much hyped swearing-in function.
Angry NASA supporters took a swipe on Odinga in various social media functions with some talking of fatigue and even contemplating to back Uhuru Kenyatta.
