NASA Supporters Destroy Raphael Tuju's Home(PHOTOS)

Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju has revealed that goons allegedly allied to ODM and NASA destroyed his rural home and that of several other personalities allied to Jubilee in the Nyanza region.

Speaking to journalists shortly after a team of Uhuru lawyers filed responses at the Supreme Court Registry in response to several petitions at the court, the former Rarieda MP noted that there was a "conspiracy of silence" in the Nyanza region as people have been denied their basic rights of expression through a vicious campaign of attacks on those who have divergent opinion.

He cited the case of one James Rege whose home was destroyed by the said goons.

Tuju derided journalists for failing to report these cases of gross violation of human rights even when they themselves have fallen victims of these violations by NASA supporters.

"It is against human rights to prevent people from voting,” Tuju noted adding that it was a strange thing for people to be denied their right to exercise their constitutional freedom.

He was flanked at the press conference by Lawyer Katwa Kigen who is representing the president in the case.
