• Mike Sonko – The Nairobi governor  is a man many city residents fail to understand, from his lifestyle, source of wealth and the people magic- by all accounts Sonko is darling of many especially the youth and majority poor. He has invested in Real estate, Matatu business and stock exchange.
• Ali Hassan Joho – The Mombasa governor owns several apartments in Mombasa, shipping and logistics companies and hotels. He has been said to finance Raila Odinga campaigns for a while.
• Wycliffe Oparanya – The Kakamega governor has 23 years experience in local and international Finance Management, Audit and Business Consultancy. Before joining politics in 2002, Oparanya worked at the Kenya Aerotec Ltd as Chief Financial Controller. He has mainly invested in real estate.
• Alfred Mutua – The Machakos governor has been a business man, lecturer, civil servant and now politician. He served as the Kenyan government spokesman for  8 years.
• Sospeter Ojaamong – The Busia governor has been in active politics for the past two decades.  He served as Raila odinga’s aidee for years. He is has invest in real estate.
• Anyang’ Nyon’go – Before joining active politics, the Kisumu governor took teaching positions at the University of Nairobi, where he was a professor of political science and a visiting professor in universities in Mexico and Addis Ababa, where he served until 1987, before taking up the position of head of programs at the African Academy of Sciences.
• Cornel Rasanga Amoth – The Siaya governor has over 30 years experience working in Public Service. He is an expert advisor in matters of public procurement.  He has heavily invested procurement.
• Cyprian Awiti – The Homabay governor is a Manchester University graduate with vast experience in matters of management since 1980 when he was factory and Marketing Manager of Siemens.  He has also invested in the health sector.
• Anne Waiguru – The Kirinyaga governor describes her wealth as nothing to write home about. She worked at the World Bank and as the assistant vice president at Citi Group before joining government.
• John Nyagarama –  The Nyamira governor has worked extensively in the tea sector in Nyanza and Rift Valley, serving as a director at various tea factories such as Nyansiongo Tea Factory Company Limited and Chai Trading Company Limited and representing Nyamira in the Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA).John Nyagarama has also served as a director and chairman of Kenya Tea Packers Limited (KETEPA).
