- Cyprian Awiti – The Homabay governor is a Manchester University graduate with vast experience in matters of management since 1980 when he was factory and Marketing Manager of Siemens. He has also invested in the health sector.
- Anne Waiguru – The Kirinyaga governor describes her wealth as nothing to write home about. She worked at the World Bank and as the assistant vice president at Citi Group before joining government.
- John Nyagarama – The Nyamira governor has worked extensively in the tea sector in Nyanza and Rift Valley, serving as a director at various tea factories such as Nyansiongo Tea Factory Company Limited and Chai Trading Company Limited and representing Nyamira in the Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA).John Nyagarama has also served as a director and chairman of Kenya Tea Packers Limited (KETEPA).
