The late Gakuru was the second
legislator to hold the office of Governor in Nyeri county. Gakuru passed on
following a tragic road accident on Tuesday, November 7, in Kabati along the
Thika-Kenol Highway in Murang'a county.
According to prior TUKO.co.ke, Wahome
was in the vehicle with two other occupants when the early morning accident
occurred. The vehicle crashed into a guard rail and the rail penetrated the
length of the vehicle. TUKO.co.ke understands that the guard rail penetrated
his stomach and the politician stood little chance of survival The late Gakuru
