Back to work:Former IEBC Commissioner Roselyne Akombe Resume Her Job and jubilee supporters are not happy….Here is what she has said about the just concluded elections

Former IEBC Commissioner Roselyne Akombe has announced that she has resumed her duties at the United Nations (UN) Headquarters in New York City.
Dr Akombe stated that she went back to her old job two weeks after she resigned from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
She, however, noted that she had been given strict conditions by her employer not to talk to the press about the Kenyan elections.

Dr Akombe worked at the UN Secretariat as a political advisor before she took a sabbatical leave to join the IEBC as a Commissioner.
Reports indicate that she took a 70 percent pay cut at UN so as to take the new role in the electoral commission.

“Yes, I’m back at my old job but I’m prohibited from talking to the press. This was contained in the new contract I signed recently,” Akombe told Daily Nation.
