INTERESTING; DP Ruto Reveals The One Thing He Wants To Discuss With Raila Odinga

During a second CNN interview on Sunday evening, the DP disclosed that he would hold talks with the opposition leader to discuss his (Railas) retirement package.

We talk with all Kenyans and we are ready to talk with Raila just the way we talk with the rest of Kenyans. We are even ready to discuss with him his retirement package," he affirmed.

DP Ruto further told CNN journalist Becky Anderson that there was no question about the numbers in the fresh election.

There is no confusion about numbers. It’s the perennial loser thats trying to drive that narrative, he divulged.

He compared the formation of the NRM (National Resistance Movement) by the NASA leader to the Ugandas Lord’s Resistance Army(LRA) Joseph Kony.

On Sunday during an interview with Al Jazeera , DP Ruto reiterated that there would be no election in 90 days as per NASA’s demands.

Our statement to our friend Raila is that Kenya is a constitutional democracy. Whatever he is alleging about an election is not in the constitution. However popular they are they cannot change the constitution, he said.

On the other hand, during a rally in Kawangware earlier in the day, Mr Odinga dismissed calls for him to retire.

‘’Ati Raila ni mzee...yule ambaye anasema Raila ni mzee...angalia akili ya mtu na sera zake. Sitastaafu kwa sababu Ruto amesema. Ntastaafu nikiamua(which loosely translates to: That Raila is old...whoever is saying Raila is old...look at a person and his policies. I won’t retire because Ruto said I should. I will when I decide to,’’ he proclaimed.

He maintained that he would only retire after uniting Kenyans and leading them to the promised land
