Five missing after Uhuru’s Jubilee party helicopter crashes in Lake Nakuru; So Sad

A helicopter carrying five people has crashed in Lake Nakuru moments after take off from Jarika Hotel, Nakuru on Saturday. The chopper reg no 5Y NMJ crashed into lake Nakuru this morning with five occupants.
It was reportedly heading to Narok for Jubilee campaigns.
It is unclear whether those on board were journalists or politicians heading for the event.

But sources said the helicopter may have been carrying officials attached to Senator Susan Kihika.
“It left the hotel at 7am to Narok but crashed in the Lake,” Nakuru OCPD Joshua Omukatta said.
He said some of the chopper’s debris has been seen floating in the lake but the rescue team is yet to find the occupants.
The lake has been sealed off for rescue operations.
